My Story

Although I’m now a milliner by trade, I didn’t always make hats. I spent a large chunk of my life lecturing English Literature and trying to become an academic, something that couldn’t be further away from my current world of glitter, jewels and craziness!I really didn’t plan this career but after much soul searching I found that books and studying weren’t enough. I made a huge leap of faith into doing what I love most: creating beautiful hats and accessories. I started small – making simple hair flowers and glittery hair clips and as I grew in confidence, my designs have become more detailed and adventurous, adorning heads the world over!     

In 2011 I was approached by River Island who asked me to supply them with hats and other accessories for their autumn/winter campaign and I saw my work featured on billboards across the country and I’ve also been lucky enough to be featured in many magazine and blog editorials, including Vintage Life, Rock n Roll Bride and the Sun newspaper to name a few.
